BEC RFP – ANNOUNCEMENT: RSVP for the Webcast on Monday, August 3 at 1 PM CPT
The Fall 2026 Block Energy and Capacity Request for Proposals (“BEC RFP”) consists of the procurement of: (i) monthly on-peak and off-peak standard block forward products as well as combinations for Ameren Illinois Company (“AIC”) and Commonwealth Edison Company (“ComEd”) for the period October 1, 2026 to May 31, 2029; and (ii) capacity for AIC for the periods June 1, 2027 to May 31, 2028 and June 1, 2028 to May 31, 2029.
A bidder information webcast will be held on Monday, August 3, 2026 at 1:00 PM Central and is open to all prospective bidders. The Procurement Administrator will provide an overview of the RFP Process and Rules including qualification requirements. Time is scheduled for questions.
