Indexed REC RFP – ANNOUNCEMENT: Fall 2026 Indexed REC RFP Quantities to be Procured
The 2026 Long-Term Plan provides for a procurement of Indexed Renewable Energy Credits (“Indexed RECs”) from new utility-scale wind projects, new utility-scale solar projects, new brownfield site photovoltaic projects, and new hydropower projects at an existing dam or modernized or retooled hydropower projects this Fall 2026. The quantities to be procured are 837,984 RECs delivered annually from either new utility-scale wind or hydropower projects, 433,333 RECs delivered annually from new utility-scale solar projects, and 296,271 RECs delivered annually from new brownfield site photovoltaic projects.
