On March 31, 2023, the Illinois Power Agency will hold an informational webinar on Minimum Equity Standard (“MES”) requirements, the upcoming Compliance Plan, and related requirements for developers of utility-scale wind, utility-scale solar, and brownfield site photovoltaic projects that have received Indexed REC contracts through IPA-administered procurements, or developers who plan to participate in future procurements. The webinar will review MES requirements for Program Year 2023-2024 (effective June 1, 2023), information required for bids in future procurements, reporting requirements, and important definitions. The webinar will also include a preview of the MES Compliance Plan form, an overview of the Energy Workforce Equity Portal, and a review of the MES Waiver request process.

The webinar will be held on Friday, March 31, 2023 at 11am-12pm CPT and will be recorded for those that cannot attend. All stakeholders are encouraged to attend and register here.
