STP-6: We have sent you our bank’s proposed modifications to each Company’s Pre-Bid Letter of Credit. When can we expect a response?

A Bidder may, in its Part 1 Proposal under the Standard Products RFP (“STP RFP”), provide comments on or propose modifications to the changes that have been made to the Standard Pre-Bid Letter of Credit for a Company relative to the previously used Standard Pre-Bid Letter of Credit for that Company. The Procurement Administrator will not solicit comments on changes to the Standard Pre-Bid Letter of Credit for a Company when such changes are purely administrative in nature, such as a change to the expiration date.

The changes to the Standard Pre-Bid Letter of Credit for ComEd consist solely of such administrative updates and the Procurement Administrator will not be soliciting comments on the Standard Pre-Bid Letter of Credit for ComEd. However, optional modifications approved in the prior procurement event under the STP RFP will be made available to bidders. Please consult this list of optional modifications when it is posted to the procurement website to determine whether the modifications sought by your bank are acceptable to ComEd.

Bidders will be able to provide comments on the changes to the Standard Pre-Bid Letter of Credit for Ameren Illinois Company (“AIC”). A Bidder provides comments or proposes modifications on the changes to the Pre-Bid Letter of Credit for AIC by completing the AIC Comment Insert with its Part 1 Proposal. The AIC Comment Insert is also labelled INSERT #P1-5.

Bidders will be able to provide comments on the Pre-Bid Letter of Credit for MidAmerican Energy Company (“MidAmerican”). A Bidder provides comments or proposes modifications to the Pre-Bid Letter of Credit for MidAmerican exclusively by submitting a redline of the Pre-Bid Letter of Credit for MidAmerican in Microsoft Word format by email or by upload to the application website. Only one (1) such redline may be submitted for the Pre-Bid Letter of Credit for MidAmerican.

As such, the comments that you have submitted will not be considered at this time. To the extent that such comments are solicited by the Part 1 Proposal, they will be considered at that time.
