You are not required to document your election of particular modification in the Part 1 Proposal if that modification is already an acceptable modification to a Pre-Bid Letter of Credit. All modifications already acceptable to a Company are listed in a document entitled “Acceptable Modifications to the Standard Pre-Bid Letter of Credit for [name of Company] (March 29, 2016)”. When you provide your Pre-Bid Letter of Credit with your Part 2 Proposal, you will be required either to use the Standard Form of the Pre-Bid Letter of Credit or to use only those modifications that the Company finds acceptable and that are posted to the procurement website.
In the Part 1 Proposal, you may, but are not required to, provide comments on or propose (additional) modifications to the changes to the Pre-Bid Letter of Credit for AIC by using the AIC Comment Insert (#P1-5) prepared for this purpose. You may, but are not required to, provide comments on or propose (additional) modifications to the Pre-Bid Letter of Credit for MidAmerican by submitting a document in tracked changes in Microsoft Word format. The Procurement Administrator will not be soliciting comments on the letters of credit for ComEd.
